About the Instructor

Ken Toler has worked in the Quality and Manufacturing environments for 30 years. He has held positions of a Journeymen Machinist, Machine Parts Inspector, Tool Inspector, Quality Engineer, and Gage and Fixture Designer. During his career he was a Lead Quality Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Sunnyvale, Ca. and a Branch Head managing a Gage Certification Laboratory for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Corona, Ca.

Mr. Toler's instruction in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing comes from a vast subject knowledge and actual application in product manufacture and acceptance. He instructed classes for Lockheed Martin, Navy Special Programs in Sunnyvale, Ca., Kings Bay, Ga., and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, and various companies in California.

Ken Toler attends the ASME Y14.5 Committee Meetings to keep up to date on the subject matter. Ken is now an active member of the newly released national standard ASME Y14.43 2003 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing for Gages and Fixtures. |
